Job Title: OSS Senior Manager

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the Operations Support System (OSS) team. The role involves overseeing the development implementation and optimization of OSS solutions critical to network operations. The primary purpose is to ensure the seamless functioning of the OSS enabling the organization to deliver highquality services and maintain optimal network performance. The OSS Senior Manager plays a key role in driving strategic initiatives managing a skilled team handson experience and collaborating with crossfunctional stakeholders to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of the Operations Support System.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the OSS in alignment with business objectives.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvement system optimization and integration of new technologies.
  
• Lead and manage a team of OSS professionals along with actively participate in the design coding testing and debugging of OSS solutions.
  
• Handle daily BAU projects along with operations of OSS solutions.
  
• Conduct regular performance evaluations mentorship and training.
  
• Oversee the design development and implementation of OSS solutions.
  
• Ensure compliance with organizational requirements and industry standards.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams or external vendors for implementation.
  
• Implement tools and processes for realtime performance monitoring.
  
• Proactively identify and address performance issues to optimize system reliability.
  
• Ensure OSS solutions and operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  
• Develop and manage budgets for OSS projects and operations.
  
• Optimize resource allocation for costeffectiveness and efficient project delivery.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including network operations and IT.
  
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to understand requirements and align OSS strategies with business goals
  
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for OSS processes configurations and developments
  
• Generate regular reports on OSS performance issues and improvements for management review.
  
• Continuously evaluate and improve OSS processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices related to OSS.
  
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure the security of OSS solutions.
  
• Provide regular updates to executive leadership on OSS initiatives achievements and challenges.
  
• Integrate OSS components with other systems and thirdparty applications.
  
• Work with databases to store retrieve and manipulate data relevant to OSS operations.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in OSS domain.
  
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python C# or others commonly used in software development.
  
• Expertise in database design SQL and database management systems (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle).
  
• Understanding of telecommunications concepts including voice and data services routing and network protocols.
  
• Understanding of network management principles including network monitoring and configuration management.
  
• Familiarity with project management principles and tools for effective planning execution and delivery of new projects.
  
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
  
• Capability to deliver clear and engaging presentations to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  
• Understanding of relevant frameworks in the telecommunications domain such as eTOM SID TAM ITIL and ODA.
