Job Description

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Procurement solutions, including Oracle Procurement Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite, and related modules.
  • Provide strategic direction and project leadership for large national and international programs, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into technical solutions within the Oracle Procurement framework.
  • Develop comprehensive Oracle Procurement solution designs, configurations, and enhancements that meet business needs while maintaining scalability and compliance.
  • Implement effective change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption of Oracle Procurement solutions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of Oracle Procurement professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes, ensuring the integrity of financial data and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation, leveraging Oracle Procurement capabilities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with executives, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams, providing regular updates on project status and risks.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • 20+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Procurement modules, including Oracle Financials Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Proven track record of leading and successfully delivering multiple full-life-cycle Oracle Procurement implementations.
  • Global specialist on a specific commodity business function area in Oracle Procurement
  • Specialist on niche business and module function
  • Relevant Public Sector industry specialist
  • Strategy Consultant who can define new processes and KPIs at an organizational scale and works at Director level to define new value and opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and accounting principles.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Oracle certifications in procurement modules are highly desirable.
