Network Engineer

Experience

Prefer at least 7 years of engineering experience designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a mission-critical WAN/LAN related work experience.

Additional Qualifications

• Candidate must hold an active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an IA professional certification and be compliant with DoDM 8140.01 with IAT level III.
• Experience working with government, contractors, industry, and customers to provide network collaborative services.
• Experienced in DoD network management, common network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
• Experience applying network hardening techniques using current DISA STIGs
• Must have Windows Server and Red Hat system administration experience in virtual environments
• Must have knowledge of network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
• Must possess administrative, organizational, and computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Outlook).
• Requires the ability to work quickly and in a potentially high-stress environment.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
