- Conducting inspections and tests on materials and products using various NDT methods.
- Interpreting and analyzing test results to identify defects or irregularities in materials or products.
- Preparing detailed reports of inspection and test results.
- Collaborating with other professionals such as engineers manufacturers and quality control personnel to determine the root cause of defects or problems.
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure that products and materials meet industry standards and specifications.
- Maintaining NDT equipment and ensuring that it is calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Following safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Providing training and guidance to junior NDT technicians and other personnel as required.
- Staying uptodate with new NDT technologies techniques and equipment.
