MEP estimator

We are looking for an experienced MEP Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 4+ years of experience in the UAE as an MEP estimator with construction or interior fit-out companies, and must be an engineer who graduated in electrical or mechanical engineering from a reputed university. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for MEP projects, as well as providing cost engineering support to project managers and other team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for MEP projects, including: Review and analysis of project drawings and specifications
Determine and quantify all material and labor requirements for the MEP
Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor offers
Compile cost estimates according to company standards and procedures
Assist in preparing tender documents and presentations
Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process
Provide cost engineering support to project managers and other team members
Stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in the MEP construction industry

Required profile of candidates

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from a reputable university
4+ years of experience in estimating electrical and mechanical works in UAE
Strong knowledge of the UAE construction market
Mastering estimation software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
