Los Angeles-based client is seeking a temporary Food Safety & QA Coordinator to assist the Food Safety QA Manager with supporting the needs of the facility. This is a fully on-site position with an hourly pay rate between $20-$26/hour, depending upon relevant experience. For further information regarding this position, please attach your resume.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately review the food safety and quality records for finished products and maintain program compliance
- Provide support for food safety and QA activities by recordkeeping, organizing files, and taking proper documentation
- Provide support for the investigation process by following-up and logging foreign material reporting, as well as customer complaints
- Provide support for facility audits
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science/Microbiology or other science-related fields
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work in a team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and proficiency in typing skills (35 wpm)
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
