Job Description
Education and Training: Higher technical certificate or diploma in medical equipment sterilization techniques or a related field. Specific training courses in sterilization of medical equipment are an advantage.
Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of sterilization processes and methods of sterilizing medical equipment including the use of sterile instruments and chemicals.
Knowledge of equipment and tools: Good knowledge of different types of medical equipment and how to sterilize and maintain them.
Commitment to health standards: The ability to work in accordance with health standards and requirements related to sterilization of medical equipment and public safety.
