• Strong knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical installation works.
• Ability to solve problems and repair equipment on site.
• Determining the kind of tools and equipment to do a Job.Knowledge pertaining to equipment assembling, refurbishment and installations.
• Good knowledge of Health and safety regulations for water sectors.
• Physically fit to climb ladders or heights.Ability to perform work independently.
• Ability to read Autocad drawings.
• Ability to work in confined areas for extended periods.
• Ability to deliver instructions within a period of time.
• Advanced knowledge of modern equipment, machines and tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Having a working experience in UAE and other GCC/ North African regions.
• UAE Driving license is an added advantage.
  

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Mechanical Technicians are responsible for maintaining, repairing and overhauling mechanical systems used mainly in the Water Industry / Sector.
• Responsible for Monitoring, Servicing, Running tests, Troubleshooting and diagnosis.
• To work according to the Drawing / Sketch/sample given by the Installation Supervisor.
• To carry out the responsibility of Gas cutting, Grinding, Fabricating, Welding, Drilling, fixing, installing and helping in all activities of the workshop and sites.
• To select the right tools and resources to carry out site work according to company standards.
• To Maintain discipline in the working area.
