About the Role:

Enhhuestiac team player HVAC Journeyman or HVAC/R Tech in or willing to join local 597, commercial heating & air conditioning experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-mid career tech looking to grow & learn in a well established 45 years plus years in a Facilities & management company in Chicago & Lombard. (2 locations, 2 positions)

• On call rotational, once every 6-7 weeks, very little OT required
• Pay rate up to $53/hr (union scale based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, PM & maintain Commercial equipment such as boilers, burners, Chiller, RTU / Air handlers Constant Volume, DOAS, VAV & VRF systems.
• Customers Service connecting with commercial clients to take care of heating & cooling needs
• Will be working with valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, condensers, coils, piping and other functional components of systems for RTUs, various Chillers & Boilers.

Requirements

• Licensed Journeyman preferred, Universal EPA, B Card required
• 3 + years of HVAC/R or HVAC Tech commercial HVAC or HVAC/R experience
• Understanding of OSHA requirements
• Will need to be in OR willing to join Local 597 Union
• Move and lift up to 70 lbs
• Good Driving record
