Job Description

Req ID : 2526330
  • Serves as the focal point for the scheduling and control of construction materials and equipment at the job site.
  • Designs storage facilities and establishes material and equipment inventory and tracking systems.
  • Establishes warehouse procedures for the control of piping, valves, fittings and electrical, instrumentation, and consumable supplies and tools.
  • Expedites both field and home office purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Oversees receiving, off-loading, storage, and issuance of construction materials.
  • May be responsible for field purchasing.
  • May trains and provide technical guidance for personnel in use of DMCS entry and reports.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • At least 10+ years of experience in Marine Civil Engineering including breakwaters, revetments, quay wall and reclamation works .
  • Requires a working knowledge of construction-related processes, as well as a familiarity with industry practices.
  • Proficient PC skills including a familiarity with various software used for inventory control, such as Document and Materials Controls System (DMCS).
