Manager - Airfield

• You will manage the delivery of the projects from brief/ business case through to entry into service/ handover, which requires strong internal project management and leadership, with expertise in stakeholder engagement, problem solving (technical, operational, stakeholder) and development & implementation of a project delivery plan – inclusive of a stakeholder engagement plan.
• Typical delivery projects that are included in the portfolio include regulatory works in the maneuvering area, new and upgrades to operational systems, building works, as well as operationally based initiatives such as training infrastructure and artificial intelligence.
• Preferred knowledge (but not subject matter expert) of typical airside systems and assets is preferred, as these systems provide a significant interface for the forecast portfolio projects. These typically include airside cameras (High Resolution, FOD, Thermal), servers, LIDAR, system applications, campus fibre connectivity, Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Systems, Airfield Ground Lighting Control & Management System (AGLCMS), Business IT applications and systems, other airport system interfaces and central control workstations. Other key experience should consider building renovation works, works in the maneuvering areas and fire service training infrastructure.

What you'll need to succeed

• 3 to 7 years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Operational Readiness, or related fields
• Experience in Airfield project delivery.
• Certifications in Programme & Project Management, or Construction Management (CIOB) or similar or Building Services (CIBSE) or similar.
• Industry experience in Airport, Aviation preferred or Complex Infrastructure
• Internal project leadership and stakeholder management for wider business unit engagement and cooperation
• Ability to resolve complex problems, from a technical, operational and stakeholder viewpoints.
• Project Delivery Plan and Stakeholder Engagement Plan
• Project Scheduling, Risk & Issues Management, Budget Management, Procurement Strategy & Contract Administration, Stakeholder Management, etc.
• Operational Readiness Activation & Transition experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
