Lighting Event Technician

Prepares, sets up, installs, and/or operates lighting equipment for events, working to achieve the highest standard of service and equipment quality.

Tasks:

• Setup, Configure & Patch Lighting Fixtures

• Setup, Program & Playback Lighting Consoles

• Equipment Testing/Updating & Maintenance

• Reading/Understanding/Executing Technical Plans.

Qualifications and requirements

• Associate degree or relevant years of experience

• Competency in using MS Office applications

• TCP/IP Network Systems

• Light Cables & Connectors

• Power Distribution

• Strong written and spoken English

• Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions;

• Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
