Light Vehicle Driver

• Safely operate a light vehicle (e.g., sedan, SUV, van) to transport passengers and/or goods to various locations.
• Follow traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle, including regular inspections and servicing.
• Adhere to scheduled routes and timetables to ensure on-time arrivals and departures.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle as needed.
• Ensure the security of passengers, goods, and vehicle contents during transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and passengers to provide updates and address any concerns.
• Handle cash transactions and issue receipts as required for transportation services.
• Provide excellent customer service and assistance to passengers as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a similar role.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws, routes, and destinations.
• Ability to operate a light vehicle safely and responsibly in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Excellent navigation and map-reading skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
