Lift Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Installing new lifts and elevators according to company and industry standards
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on existing lifts and elevators
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with lift equipment
• Ordering and replacing parts as needed
• Conducting safety inspections and ensuring compliance with all regulations
• Responding to emergency service calls and resolving lift failures
• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient lift operations
• Staying updated on industry developments and advancements in lift technology
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical school or vocational training in a related field preferred
• 2 years of experience in lift installation and maintenance
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of lift safety standards and regulations
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
