Qualifications
- BSc. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Biomedical Engineering or in an equivalent area
- 5+ years of experience in the field
- Exposure to software such as Python, MATLAB, C++, HTML
- Design experience for gantry systems and motion systems
- Design experience with custom flexible features such as spring
- Competency in designing large electromechanical systems
- Experience with large assembly models
- Experience with troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems
- Proven design record
- Analytical problem-solving skills, such as modeling and simulations
- Ability to plan, prepare and perform all aspects of product development from ideation to modeling to make production-level drawings, testing, and production ramp-up
- Understanding of Linux systems and comfortable with utilizing in-house software for testing and debugging
- Understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and design for PCB fixturing and enclosures.
