1. Engineering delivery and excellence
Manage the design, implementation and technical components of technical life cycles according to ADCB engineering standards and identified barriers to ensure successful implementation plans are achieved. Build and implement standard and repeatable design patterns, components and technology solutions in order to achieve business objectives and customer needs and ensure security, scalability, reliability and performance. Maintain current thinking and trends regarding technology trends and practices, mentoring and training engineers to ensure best practices are incorporated and skills are up to date. Oversee the day-to-day implementation of technology and digital strategy, roadmaps and initiatives agreed with infrastructure, factions and tribes, working in cross-functional teams in order to achieve agreed deadlines (TATs) and implementation plan. Coach, coach and model data-driven performance in order to maximize performance, including producing reports and analyses
Play a leadership role with engineering and tribal teams on change control, testing, incident management, issue resolution, and release management to ensure a successful implementation. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvements in the software development process and tools to ensure solutions are continually followed best practices. Contribute to engineering acceleration initiatives across ADCB to ensure good practice solutions are delivered on time
2. Suppliers and partners
Oversee coordination with external suppliers to ensure services are provided in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and scheduled turnaround times and provide remediation plans if acceptable limits are exceeded. Work closely with solution architects and vendors in order to enhance ADCB capabilities and address technical debt.
