Laboratory Assistant - Hireget

Responsibilities:

• Prepare laboratory equipment and materials for experiments and research projects.
• Assist scientists and researchers with conducting experiments and collecting data.
• Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment and glassware.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reorder items as needed.
• Assist with the organization and management of laboratory samples and specimens.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and assays under the supervision of senior laboratory staff.
• Record and document experimental procedures results and observations accurately.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with other members of the research team to achieve project goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Biology Chemistry or a related field.
• Previous laboratory experience or coursework is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing laboratory tasks.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications particularly Microsoft Office.
