Job Description
VAM Systems is currently looking for Systems Engineer L1 for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:ExperienceBachelors Degree (B.Sc/B.E or a equivalent degree) in Computer Science or Information SystemsMinimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Managed Service operations or IT OperationsExperience with monitoring network diagnostic and network analytics and monitoring tools Experience with antivirus/malware and patch management technologiesJob Description To monitor maintain and support an infrastructure for Enterprise customers. The job holder will be part of a team responsible for implementing and maintaining monitoring solutions for Cloud platform and ensures services are provided according to the agreed contract SLA and quality. Required experienceExperience on Microsoft technologies including Windows OS Management Patch ManagementManage Monitoring solutions managing backup solutions. Working with Enterprise customers in optimizing and monitoring requirements to gain operational efficiencies in order to drive the organization to a highly customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesFull responsibility of the Cloud Services and Infrastructure.Administer systems such as Windows Active Directory Customers workloads monitoring and configurations.Diagnose system issues predict future trends make recommendations and implement client solutionsMonitor system performance and be proactive in assessing and providing recommendations for improvement of assigned systems and technologiesPatch Management and update assigned systemsMaintain and enhance assigned systems for a variety of different vendor products including backup performance management network security network services etc.Follow the escalation matrix and update the flash report for the delayed projects in order to notify the management and other stakeholders Update the managers on open Problem Notifications production issues.Create maintain and update required documentation records logs and reports.Liaison with internal departments teams vendors and suppliers to determine user requirements execute projects and set service standardsWorking on IMs FRs and CRs updating and managing the tickets on the ticketing toolExperience/knowledge in Manage Engine OMI Monitoring Solutions administering systems configuring the monitoring for the new customers troubleshooting the existing monitoring configurations for onboarded customerAlerts Managements Knowledge on VMWare VCentre Network and/or Storage and minimum experience maintaining Cloud environmentExperience in supporting maintaining and troubleshooting systemsExperience maintaining and applying security policies and proceduresExperience in MS OS Patching patching processKnowledge on the ITIL Process of Incident Request and Change Management processesBackups Monitor the Avamar Networker Data Protector and Rubricks backups solutions and their available across the platformsReporting L2/L3 issues to the L3 team ConfigurationRecover the failed backup jobsRestore backups (VM db and file) as per the customers requestTerms and conditionsJoining time frame: (15 30 days)The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems UAE and shall be deputed to one of the leading organisations in UAE.Should you be interested in this opportunity please send your latest resume in MS Word format at the earliest at
