Junior Storekeeper

• Receive, inspect, and count incoming shipments of materials and supplies
• Maintain accurate records of the inventory and stock levels
• Label and store materials and supplies in designated areas
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed
• Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
• Properly dispose of any expired or damaged materials
• Assist in the maintenance and organization of the storage area
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and orderly work environment
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or inventory-based role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and record inventory
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of safety and inventory management practices
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment is an asset.
