Junior Environmental Engineer KSA - ALPIN LIMITED

This position will require a high level of trust professionalism and communication.

The candidate shall be assigned to an integrated environmental team for projects within the Middle East and Europe.

The Local Environmental team works with experts in environmental management from the Setec group based in France with worldwide experience.

Reports Directly to:

Environmental Manager / Environmental Director

Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist the team in write up the EIAs ESIAs and Baseline Surveys Reports.
Development and implementation of the FEMPs OEMPs CEMPs and DEMPs.
Travel with in KSA for baseline surveys monitoring auditing or meetings as required.
Onsite Environmental compliance supervision.
Undertake and supervise environmental Monitoring (Air Noise Vibration) on site. Supervision of
Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations and noise monitoring equipment.
Undertake baseline environmental surveys and soil and groundwater sample collection.
Supervise Marine ecology surveys (including sediment and marine water collection).
Undertake baseline environmental Audits.
Collaborate with SETEC teams and the Clients specialist teams.
Translation (in Arabic) of the Scientific reports and company documents.
Other duties connected with the Function as directed.

• In addition to your responsibility towards following ALPINs Integrated Management System every employee at ALPIN is required to familiarize themselves with ALPINs Environmental Impact Assessment and contribute towards minimizing their individual environmental impact in the course of their work;

• It is the duty of all employees to act within the legal responsibilities imposed upon them and the Companys Quality Environment and Health & Safety policies. All employees must familiarize themselves with the Companys Integrated Management Systems policies and procedures.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with both clients and consultants;
Saudi National;
Up to 3 years of demonstrated project experience in environmental compliance / assurance.
Advanced Proficiency in MS Office;
Bachelors Degree in related discipline (Environmental Sciences Construction Management
Engineering or Architecture);
GCC experience;
Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fastpaced environment;
Ability to selfmanage;
Strong communication skills (Written & spoken).
