Job Performer - Health And Safety

Responsibilities:

1. Health and Safety Management:

• Take primary responsibility for the health and safety of workers onsite during gas line pipe construction projects.
• Ensure strict adherence to all ADNOC procedures and regulations related to health safety and environmental standards.
• Conduct Tool Box Talks before job starts to communicate safety protocols and procedures to all workers.

2. Compliance and Permit Management:

• Submit all necessary permits and certificates one day in advance of planned work activities attaching the TRA (Task Risk Assessment) to the permit.
• Once conditions and controls are checked sign the permit and receive it from the issuing authority.
• Display the permit at the work site and ensure all precautions and controls identified by the area authority are implemented.

3. Site Maintenance:

• Ensure that work sites are clean clear and safe upon completion of projects or during work suspension periods.
• Remain at the work site for the duration of work activities and suspend work in the event of an emergency or general alarm.
• Close the permit upon completion of the work activity.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in health and safety management preferably in the construction industry or related field.
• NEBOSH certification or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety.
• Familiarity with ADNOC procedures and regulations pertaining to health safety and environmental standards.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols risk assessment and hazard mitigation techniques.
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact with workers contractors and regulatory authorities.
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety concerns.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment

Duration: 18 months contract
Location: Western Region of Abu Dhabi
