Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist with a strong background in setting up and managing IT infrastructure for large offices with a specific focus on data security. This position is crucial in ensuring the secure and efficient operation of IT systems within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements in this industry especially related to data security and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Plan design and implement IT infrastructure solutions for large offices with a focus on the organization.

• Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of hardware and software systems.

• Ensure scalability and reliability of the IT infrastructure.

• Develop and implement data security policies procedures and practices tailored to the specific needs of the organization.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with data security regulations including classified and sensitive data handling.

• Implement and maintain robust network security measures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.

• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal downtime in the event of system failures or disasters.

• Stay uptodate with industryspecific regulations and standards related to data security and ensure the organizations compliance.

• Train staff on security best practices protocols and procedures to enhance overall security awareness within the organization.

• Provide technical support to endusers and resolve ITrelated issues in a timely manner.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network and hardware problems.

• Maintain accurate records of configurations procedures and security incidents.

• Prepare and maintain documentation for IT infrastructure and security protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science.

• 10 years of experience in setting up and managing IT infrastructure for large offices particularly in the naval military or shipbuilding industry.

• Indepth knowledge of data security best practices regulations and compliance requirements in the defense and shipbuilding sectors.

• Strong expertise in network security firewalls intrusion detection and data encryption.

• Proficiency with security assessment tools and risk management.

• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Experience with naval military or shipbuilding projects is highly preferred.
