Job Description
Endpoint Deployment: Plan, execute, and oversee the deployment of VPN endpoints across the organization, ensuring seamless and secure remote access for employees.
Configuration Management: Configure and manage VPN client software, settings, and profiles on various endpoint devices, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security policies, protocols, and encryption standards to ensure data privacy and compliance with industry regulations.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve VPN connectivity issues, providing timely support to end-users and escalating complex problems as necessary.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of VPN configurations, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor VPN performance, analyze logs, and optimize configurations to enhance reliability and speed.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of VPN protocols and technologies, including IPsec, SSL/TLS, and remote access VPNs.
Familiarity with VPN client software and endpoint devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
Understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or certifications from leading VPN solution providers are a plus.
Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001) and their impact on VPN deployments is beneficial.
