Our client, a well-established Construction Group is looking to add the position of IT Engineer to their growing business. An ideal candidate will have previous experience in understanding of IT Networks and Device Management protocols preferably within the Construction sectors.
Within this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing the organizations policies regarding the use of computers and data access to ensure compliance with the organizations policy and departmental guidelines (updating / developing softwares and setting up of passwords)
- Installation and testing of softwares on various platforms
- Maintenance of network operations and software applications, operating systems, organization-wide server backups, conductingroutine maintenance programs, etc. to ensure efficient operations
- Troubleshooting network and software issues
- Installation of GPS in company vehicles
- Designing and installation of computer hardware and configurations
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- Systems Administrator/System Engineer Certifications in MS technologies
- System Administration experience of at least 8 years within the Construction sector
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, Data Storage
