We are currently looking for anInterventional Cardiology Consultant who will work for a well-known hospital based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

Outpatient clinic responsibilities at these sites and at outreach sites as assigned.
Active participation in the development of interventional programs at the above medical centers.
After hours and weekend interventional coverage in rotation with other faculty.
Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.
Prescribing tests, treatments, and/or surgery, when necessary.
Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests and/or treatments prescribed, and test results.
Performing tests, when needed, to check the health of patients hearts and/or cardiovascular systems.
Interpreting test results to determine how effectively the heart and/or cardiovascular system is functioning.
Using medical imaging equipment, such as CT and MRI scanners, to diagnose and treat heart and/or cardiovascular conditions.
Assisting and/or performing surgery which may include complex surgical interventions that require a team of medical professionals.
Prescribing medication to treat heart and/or cardiovascular disease.
Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
Training and providing educational support to junior staff, when necessary.

Requirements

To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Experience From US (Board), Canada (Royal College Fellowship) UK (CCT), Ireland (CSD, CSCST), Australia &NZ (Fellowship), France (DES, DESC), And Other European Countries According To The Qualification Equivalence Tables Of The SCFHS.
  • 2+ Years Experience post specialty in a Hospital based in Western Europe, Central America, South Africa, and Australasia
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Shift Information:6 days a week (8 hrs/day)


To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria: Western educated, trained, experienced Interventional Cardiologist, Board Certified or equivalent; - Minimum 7 years clinical experience as an Interventional Cardiology Specialist ( Post-Board Certification); - Fellowship training/Specialist training in Interventional Cardiology; Attention to detail: They are given to details and are able to carry out delicate processes to give patients their desired appearance Problem-solving Skill: They perform surgical and non-surgical procedures to meet the physical requirements of patients. Successful completion of their home Medical Licensing Examination / able to get a medical license to work in KSA Valid and active medical license in the state where you are currently practicing your profession. Exceptional attention to detail. Outstanding hand-eye coordination and dexterity. Wonderful bedside manner. Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients. Flexible working hours. Willing to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
