One of our esteemed clients in the shipbuilding industry is currently seeking an Interim HR Specialist for immediate joining to be based in Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Job Summary:
As an Interim HR Specialist you will play a pivotal role in supporting various human resources functions on a temporary basis for a duration of 12 months. Your responsibilities will encompass talent acquisition employee relations benefits administration and other HRrelated activities. This role requires a strong understanding of HR principles effective communication skills and the ability to navigate various HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Talent Acquisition:

    • Support the recruitment process including job posting candidate screening and coordinating interviews.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
  2. Employee Relations:

    • Address employee queries and concerns providing guidance and support.
    • Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues and participate in conflict resolution.
  3. Benefits Administration:

    • Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance leave management and retirement plans.
    • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefitsrelated inquiries.
  4. Onboarding and Offboarding:

    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
    • Conduct exit interviews and assist in the offboarding process for departing employees.
  5. HR Compliance:

    • Stay abreast of local labor laws and ensure HR practices comply with regulations.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  6. Data Management:

    • Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records in the HRIS.
    • Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support decisionmaking.
  7. Employee Engagement:

    • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives including organizing events and activities.
    • Seek feedback from employees to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of HR policies procedures and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • HR certification (e.g. SHRMCP PHR) is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
  • Availability to commit to a 12month interim role.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing HR priorities and organizational needs.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
