Requirements
- Specialization in Internal Medicine or Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine from a recognized medical school.
- Licenses: Valid medical license to practice as an Intensive Care Physician in the designated location. Must be in good standing with relevant licensing authorities.
- Clinical Experience: Minimum of 1 year of postresidency experience in Critical Care Medicine practice including clinical rotations fellowships or equivalent training.
- Critical Care Skills: Proficient in managing critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) including but not limited to mechanical ventilation hemodynamic monitoring vasopressor/inotropic support sedation and analgesia and renal replacement therapy.
- Diagnostic Expertise: Skilled in interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging studies such as arterial blood gases chest Xrays echocardiograms and computed tomography (CT) scans.
- Procedural Skills: Competent in performing critical care procedures including central venous catheterization arterial line placement endotracheal intubation bronchoscopy and chest tube insertion.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams including nurses respiratory therapists pharmacists nutritionists and other healthcare professionals.
- Ethical and Professional Conduct: Uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct in patient care decisionmaking and all aspects of medical practice.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced highstress environment prioritizing patient safety efficient workflow and effective communication among team members.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate patient care within the ICU team providing guidance support and mentorship to junior physicians and other healthcare providers.
