Information Technology Business Analyst

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit and document detailed business requirements, user stories, and use cases
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather comprehensive information
• Analyze and document current business processes and workflows
• Create clear and concise documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and system workflows
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, facilitating effective communication
• Ensure that all relevant parties have a shared understanding of project requirements and objectives
• Work closely with solution architects and developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Provide input into the design of technology solutions that align with business needs
• Collaborate with business users to define UAT scenarios and test cases
• Support business users during UAT, ensuring that solutions meet business requirements
• Support change management efforts by assisting in the development of training materials and providing training to end users
• Communicate changes to relevant stakeholders and address concerns
• Analyze and interpret data to support business decision-making
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies
• Assist in project planning and coordination activities
• Support Project Manager to track and report on project progress, issues, and risks
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in business analysis methodologies
• Provide training and documentation for end-users as needed

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as a business analyst in IT projects
• Experience in cloud and automation technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of project management principles is a plus
