Job Description

- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, ducts, and thermostats
- Evaluate properties to determine necessary HVAC repairs or maintenance before HVAC projects begin
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Coordinate with property owners, managers, and other contractors to schedule HVAC projects and minimize disruption to tenants or occupants
- Keep accurate records of materials used and time spent on each project
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations, including using appropriate protective gear and properly disposing of hazardous materials
- Troubleshoot HVAC issues and implement solutions to ensure proper functioning of HVAC systems
- Advise property owners and managers on appropriate HVAC upgrades to improve energy efficiency and comfort
- Keep up-to-date with changes to HVAC codes and regulations
