- Cleaning and Sanitizing:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other living spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are free from dust, dirt, and grime.
- Laundry and Linen Care:
- Wash, fold, and iron clothing and linens.
- Change bed linens and make beds.
- Manage and organize laundry and storage areas.
- Organization:
- Organize and tidy up living spaces, including arranging furniture and belongings.
- Assist in decluttering and organizing closets and storage areas.
- Inventory Management:
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and household items, and inform the supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
- Assist in grocery shopping and other household errands as needed.
- Specialized Cleaning:
- Handle specific cleaning tasks as required, such as cleaning windows, carpets, and appliances.
- Follow specialized cleaning procedures for delicate surfaces or materials.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific preferences and requirements.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Respect for Privacy:
- Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of the residents.
- Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:
- Follow established health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use cleaning products and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
