Job Description
Education and training:
A health and safety professional is typically required to possess a bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field. Obtaining recognized certifications in the field of occupational safety can be an added advantage.
Experience:
It is preferable to have previous experience in the field of occupational health and safety. Experience in applying and implementing safety standards in the workplace would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of regulations:
You must be familiar with regulations and laws related to health and safety in the workplace. Must be able to update and implement procedures and policies that comply with these regulations.
