The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
KEY RESULT AREA #1 Content Creation
Research hot and trending topics within the Amazon e-commerce ecosystem that we can develop into video, downloadable content, including course content
Create different articles and ensure articles are innovative, original, and accurate including brand messaging, blogging, and website copy that represent FTF branding and follow key writing principles
Conduct keyword research on the YouTube platform
Identify customers needs and recommend new topics
Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
Create scripts, talking guides to use during the filming
Create shoot guides to support the filming process
Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement
Measure web traffic to content
Design and create free and paid downloadable content, including course content, based around the YouTube video content
Performance Metrics: Conversion and bounce rates, content engagement, website visits, contents created and released
KEY RESULT AREA #2 On-Page SEO
Format YouTube video to be SEO-optimized
Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
Write a captivating meta description to appear in the search results and draw the eye to read the copy
Select keywords and phrases that people are actually searching for on our content
Write, while weaving the keywords and phrases throughout the content so that the copy is completely seamless and natural sounding
Performance Metrics: Ensure that content use relevant keywords in order to increase traffic in the Google SERP
KEY RESULT AREA #3 Insights
Research on trending topics and weave insights into the overall content strategy
Utilize SEO-related assets, tools/platforms including Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Semrush, Clarity
Collaborate with the web development team to fix technical website issues ( slow page, load speeds, page crawl errors, and duplicate content) that may negatively impact organic search rankings
Review SEO metrics such as organic traffic, ranking positions, domain authority, conversion and conversion rates, engagement metrics such as dwell time and organic return visits and provide recommendations for improvement
Performance Metrics: Ensure that our landing pages per product drives traffic and conversions
BA degree in Literature, Journalism, Marketing or similar relevant field from a reputable university (or any-related course);
At least 2 years of substantial work experience in research and content creation
At least 1 year of experience in digital SEO and copywriting
Preferably with experience in content creation for online courses and or YouTube
