Head of Communications

• Strategy Development: Design, implement, and oversee the communications strategy of the company in collaboration with senior management.
• Media Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with media personnel, influencers, and other stakeholders. Handle press releases, respond to media inquiries, and organize press conferences or other events.
• Internal Communications: Ensure smooth internal communications within the company. Manage newsletters, internal emails, intranet updates, and other platforms.
• Branding: Ensure a consistent brand voice, message, and identity across all communication channels and platforms.
• Content Creation: Oversee the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content. This may include brochures, reports, newsletters, and digital content.
• Crisis Management: Prepare communication strategies for potential crisis situations. Ensure prompt and accurate communication during such times.
• Digital Communications: Oversee the company's online presence, including websites, social media accounts, and other digital platforms.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Manage communications with stakeholders, including investors, partners, suppliers, and the wider community.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the communications team, ensuring optimal performance.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns, making adjustments as needed. Provide regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Arabic speaking preferred
• Proven experience in a senior communications role, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans and initiatives.
• Familiarity with digital communication platforms, including social media, content management systems, and analytics tools.
• Strong leadership skills with an ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Crisis management experience.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
