My client, a leading food company in the Buffalo, NY area, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician with a strong background in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing of high-speed/high-volume manufacturing This position is a direct hire, with a very competitive starting hourly rate, company paid for medical benefits, company paid for training/certifications, PTO and other great incentives!
Summary : A person highly qualified in the field of troubleshooting and installation of electrical / electronic devices and equipment in a food manufacturing
Perform programming and maintain PLC, VFD, MMI documentation, including but not limited to Allen-Bradley Software
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Maintains the existing electrical infrastructure and automation ;
Must be familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) to log and track work orders and
Provide automation, MES and factory support on assigned shift, including development of E&C Technicians capabilities
Minimum Job Requirements: Education/Certifications:
2 Year degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience
Certification or degrees in the area of PLC, VFD, HMI and all other related training or on the job experience
Experience:
At least 3 years experience as an Industrial Electrician and Instrumentation
Strong background in an industrial environment, preferably a food manufacturing facility
1-2+ years troubleshooting PLC s
