GSE Mechanic - Junior Maintenance Technician

• Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various types of ground support equipment, including but not limited to baggage carts, cargo loaders, aircraft tugs, and fuel trucks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on GSE equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter replacement, and calibration, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in GSE maintenance and repair.
  

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or automotive engineering is preferred.
• Proven experience as a GSE Mechanical Technician or a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Familiarity with various tools, equipment, and techniques used in GSE maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
