About the position
The main objective is to provide support in the collaboration and coordination of activities related to the Project Routes PDET and Climate-smart initiatives for climate change adaptation and sustainability (CSICAP) project in prioritized agricultural production systems in During the execution of the projects the selected person will be responsible for the articulation between the Alliance Bioversity-CIAT teams (Technological Innovation component), IICO, Red Adelco, and the Delegation of the European Union (among other key partners) in Routes PDET Program; and Fedegan and CIPAV for the CSICAP

Key Responsibilities
Project PDET Engagement:
- Articulate the technical team of Routes PDET Program in its two components, livestock and cocoa (each component has its technical coordinator and a scientific supervisor).
- Organize the coordination of various activities related to the implementation of the Routes PDET Program, such as: risk management, proposals for international technical assistance, support in the creation of guidelines for the relationship with the beneficiaries, among
- Coordinate the interaction with internal areas (, finance, legal, among others) for the implementation of the
- Lead the Committees for Financial Aid to Third Parties (AFTs).
- Lead the relationship with the AFT support consulting
- Lead the relationship with the partner teams (Red Adelco and ICCO), as well as with the coordinators of each of these

Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor career in Biology, Agriculture, animal and Sciences, Agronomic Engineering, or related
- PhD degree in Livestock Science, Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, or related field such as Animal Science, but with livestock experience
- Advanced level of English (oral, written)) a third language is a plus
- Experience working in conflict areas is a plus
- Demonstrated experience and leadership in the management of rural development projects
- Demonstrated ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team, adaptability and results oriented
- Demonstrated ability to undertake stakeholder interviews in a professional, culturally sensitive manner
- Experience of minimum (5) years of relevant professional experience in the livestock sector
- Experience of minimum two (2) to five (5) years of relevant professional experience in leader management of livestock investment projects and/or in leading the management of other rural development projects
