Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve their
targets. Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching and feedback to enhance performance.
- Store Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of the furniture store, including opening and closing
procedures, visual merchandising, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Sales and Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, assist customers in their furniture
selection, and lead by example to drive sales. Train and coach staff to deliver outstanding service.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensure accurate stock levels, and
coordinate with supply chain executive to restock as needed. Minimize product damages and losses.
- Staff Management: Supervise sales associates and support staff. Schedule and allocate tasks
efficiently to ensure a well-functioning team.
- Sales and Financial Performance: Set and achieve sales targets, monitor the store's financial
performance, and take corrective actions as necessary to meet or exceed goals.
- Visual Merchandising: Oversee the layout, arrangement, and appearance of the store to maximize
sales and create an inviting shopping atmosphere.
- Inventory Auditing: Regularly conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Implement loss prevention strategies.
- Marketing and Promotions: Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive foot traffic and increase
sales. Coordinate with marketing teams to promote the store effectively.
- Budget Management: Create and manage the store's budget, control expenses, and optimize
profitability while maintaining high-quality service.
- Compliance: Ensure the store complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Monitor and maintain security and safety measures.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the furniture or interior design industry
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of current interior design trends and furniture styles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
