Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve their

targets. Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching and feedback to enhance performance.

  • Store Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of the furniture store, including opening and closing

procedures, visual merchandising, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

  • Sales and Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, assist customers in their furniture

selection, and lead by example to drive sales. Train and coach staff to deliver outstanding service.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensure accurate stock levels, and

coordinate with supply chain executive to restock as needed. Minimize product damages and losses.

  • Staff Management: Supervise sales associates and support staff. Schedule and allocate tasks

efficiently to ensure a well-functioning team.

  • Sales and Financial Performance: Set and achieve sales targets, monitor the store's financial

performance, and take corrective actions as necessary to meet or exceed goals.

  • Visual Merchandising: Oversee the layout, arrangement, and appearance of the store to maximize

sales and create an inviting shopping atmosphere.

  • Inventory Auditing: Regularly conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Implement loss prevention strategies.

  • Marketing and Promotions: Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive foot traffic and increase

sales. Coordinate with marketing teams to promote the store effectively.

  • Budget Management: Create and manage the store's budget, control expenses, and optimize

profitability while maintaining high-quality service.

  • Compliance: Ensure the store complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Monitor and maintain security and safety measures.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the furniture or interior design industry
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of current interior design trends and furniture styles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
