Furniture Designer - confidential

We are looking for a skilled and creative Furniture Designer to join our team in Kuwait. As a Furniture Designer you will be responsible for designing and creating functional and aesthetically pleasing furniture pieces. You will collaborate with clients architects and interior designers to understand their requirements and translate them into innovative designs. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail excellent knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes and a passion for creating unique and highquality furniture.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop furniture pieces that meet client requirements and design standards.
• Create detailed sketches 3D models and technical drawings using computeraided design (CAD) software.
• Collaborate with clients architects and interior designers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Research and stay up to date with current design trends materials and manufacturing techniques.
• Select appropriate materials finishes and fabrics for each furniture piece.
• Create prototypes and test the functionality and durability of furniture designs.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure the accurate execution of designs.
• Provide guidance and support to junior designers and draftsmen.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and design specifications.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Design Product Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Furniture Designer preferably in a highend furniture company.
• Proficient in computeraided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD SketchUp or SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of furniture design principles materials and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent creativity and artistic skills to develop unique and innovative designs.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with clients architects and production teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to create accurate technical drawings.
• Knowledge of ergonomics and human factors in furniture design.
• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to find practical solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
