Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will coordinate the efforts of various workers ensuring that their work complies with building codes laws and regulations and is completed on time and within budget. This role demands leadership indepth knowledge of the construction industry and the ability to solve problems swiftly and efficiently.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors to ensure project efficiency and compliance with building specifications.
  
• Inspect work progress equipment and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
  
• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and sketches adjusting work schedules as needed based on site conditions and materials supply.
  
• Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  
• Train and mentor construction workers and staff providing them with feedback and resolving any issues or conflicts that arise.
  
• Coordinate and manage the procurement of materials and ensure machinery and equipment are available when needed.
  
• Maintain daily logs reports and records of work performed incidents and the overall progress of the project.
  
• Implement and enforce strict safety guidelines and building codes ensuring a safe workplace environment at all times.
  
• Collaborate with architects engineers and clients to discuss and solve issues related to plans and specifications.
  
• Manage project budgets monitor expenditures and ensure the project is completed within the allocated financial resources.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry with a minimum of 5 years of experience preferred.
  
• A diploma or degree in construction management civil engineering or a related field is advantageous.
  
• Indepth knowledge of construction procedures equipment and OSH guidelines.
