Fleet Mechanic (Heavy Trucks)

Our esteemed client a front runner in the construction materials sector specializing in building materials is currently seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to carry out maintenance and repair work on a diverse range of mobile machinery in either company facilities or directly on public highways when required. Aim to enhance the uptime of equipment by implementing effective and forwardthinking preventative maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Proficient in reading and understanding hydraulic electrical and mechanical diagrams.

Perform routine servicing and overhauling of diesel engines especially on cement bulkers.

Conduct thorough inspections to detect engine malfunctions.

Replace engine parts and ensure proper assembly.

Check mechanical electrical brake hydraulic systems and transmission components for smooth operation.

Keep detailed records of servicing and engine repairs.

Manage inventory of spare parts and order as needed.

Ensure proper handling of all testing and repair tools.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of experience preferably 1 or 2years extensive experience in the ReadyMix Concrete Industry.

Knowledge of repairing Betico Air compressors is a must.

Proficient in interpreting hydraulic electrical and mechanical diagrams

Skilled in identifying root causes of failures and implementing corrective/preventive actions.

Capable of performing general overhauling of engine and transmission for Heavy Trucks (e.g. Man Mercedes Iveco)

Experienced in conducting tests and inspections on machine engines electrohydraulic and transmission systems to assess performance.

Possesses basic safety knowledge in fleet workshops.

Proficient in reading writing and speaking Hindi/Urdu (mandatory) optional proficiency in English.
