Job Description

- Carry out the activities and follow tool box talks and encourage fellow workers in line the Hazard control Measures identified in HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment).
- Carry out preventive and skilled maintenance activities, repair and testing of equipment.
- Participate in the assigned plant shutdown activities and ensure timely completion of job activities.
- Provide work direction and instruction to the contractor craftsman.
- Verify completed maintenance activities and ensure that the job is performed as per requirement and complete the maintenance activity sheet to achieve workmanship excellence in performance of maintenance activities.
- Carry out visual inspection and exercise vigilance to identify any developing problem in the area assigned and report any problems to relevant supervisor
- Provide effective solutions and troubleshooting to carry out the critical and complex repairs and to assess the site conditions to ensure that all company HSE precautions are followed.
- Ensure that piping repair and replacement activities are carried out in a professional manner by applying good workman ship to avoid rework.
- Able to process work orders, plan man-hours, material requirements, and time sheets in Computerized system.
- Maintain the records of material receipt, Technical Data sheets, Application procedures, and maintain Material Inventory register for all Stock items and direct purchase items.
- Examine faulty equipment to obtains necessary tools and spare parts and proceeds to worksite to carry out the job.
- Test, calibrate and repair electronic/electrical/pneumatic instruments ensuring accuracy of operation and recording independently, within a system or circuit, and in synchronization with others.
- Carryout the regular routine inspection of all instruments in assigned area to achieve high plant availability / performance.
- Checks fitting work carried out by contracted personnel to ensure conformity to Operational standards.
