Job Description
Education and Training: A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or in a firefighting field can be beneficial. Some jobs require special certifications such as NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) or CFPS (Certified Fire Safety Professional).
Knowledge of Regulations and Standards: Deep understanding of fire safety regulations and international and local building and safety standards.
Experience: Practical experience in the field of firefighting is a great advantage, especially in assessing risks and applying preventive measures.
Communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with workers within the facility, as well as with government officials or others associated with the field of safety and firefighting.
