Financial Controller

As an Accountant in a startup car rental company based in the UAE you will be responsible for managing financial records ensuring compliance with local regulations and providing accurate financial information to support business operations. This role requires a keen understanding of accounting principles familiarity with UAE tax laws and attention to detail.

• Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records for the limousine company.
  
• Record and categorize financial transactions including income expenses and payroll.
  
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide analysis of variances.
  
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax regulations.
  
• Stay updated on any changes in local financial regulations that may impact the company.
  
• Prepare regular financial reports including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  
• Present financial information to management for decisionmaking purposes.
  
• Oversee the processing of invoices payments and receipts.
  
• Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments.
  
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
  
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
  
• Provide necessary documentation and explanations for audit inquiries.
  
• Prepare and file timely and accurate VAT returns in compliance with UAE tax laws.
  
• Stay informed about changes in tax regulations and ensure the companys adherence.
  
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends opportunities and areas for improvement.
  
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
