Finance Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or have completed CA Inter with a minimum of 58 years of relevant experience. As the Finance Controller you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our cluster ensuring accuracy compliance and strategic alignment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead financial planning analysis and reporting activities while providing valuable insights to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:
   • Prepare and analyze financial statements including profit and loss statements balance sheets and cash flow statements for the cluster.
   • Ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the cluster collaborating with business units to develop financial plans aligned with strategic objectives.
   • Monitor performance against budget and forecast identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.
3. Financial Analysis:
   • Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decisionmaking and optimize resource allocation.
   • Provide insights into key financial metrics trends and performance indicators to senior management and business stakeholders.
4. Internal Controls:
   • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
   • Conduct periodic audits and reviews to assess control effectiveness and mitigate financial risks.
5. Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:
   • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations accounting standards and other statutory requirements across the cluster.
   • Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings accurately and on time.
6. Strategic Planning:
   • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and initiatives that support business growth and profitability objectives.
   • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to inform strategic decisionmaking.
7. Team Leadership:
   • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals providing guidance coaching and support to foster a highperformance culture.
   • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the finance team and across the organization.
8. Stakeholder Management:
   • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including business partners auditors regulators and financial institutions.
   • Communicate financial performance risks and opportunities effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or completed CA Inter.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in finance accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Proven experience in budgeting forecasting and financial analysis.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
