Qualifications

Person Specification Qualifications Essential

• 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of finance systems acquired through NVQ level 3, AAT intermediate level or equivalent qualification, or equivalent experience.
  

Knowledge & Experience Essential

• Relevant office experience
• Use of Microsoft Office or equivalent
• Providing information to external sources
• Communicating with all levels of staff
• IT literate
• Understanding of financial procedures
• Working in a financial environment
  

Desirable

• Knowledge of NHS financial procedures
  

Skills and Aptitudes Essential

• Good keyboard skills and experience of other office applications
• Able to work to deadlines, under pressure, and prioritise workloads
• Able to collate financial documents, identify errors and discrepancies, and implement corrections
• Able to handle difficult situations calmly
• Effective time management skills
  

Personal Circumstances Essential

• Good communicator (written and verbal)
• Positive and flexible approach to work
• Self motivated
• Required to input at a computer screen for most of the day.
