Farmer

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage the production of crops and livestock on the farm
• Ensure the farm operates efficiently and effectively, meeting production targets and maintaining high-quality standards
• Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops according to crop seasons and market conditions
• Monitor crop growth and health, making necessary adjustments to irrigation, fertilization, and pest control methods
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment and machinery
• Oversee the breeding, feeding, and care of livestock, including monitoring their health and well-being
• Manage and maintain accurate records of farm activities, expenses, and production levels
• Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and profitability of the farm
• Stay updated on industry developments and implement new and innovative farming techniques
• Train and supervise farm workers and seasonal laborers
  

Requirements

• 1 years of experience in farm management or similar role
• Strong knowledge of crop and livestock production, agricultural methods, and industry trends
• Proven ability to operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
• Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with organic farming methods is a plus
