Responsibilities:
• Develop best practices in delivery services targeting customer satisfaction
• Develop and implement the annual delivery strategy and business plan for the department across all countries
• Take part in the preparation of the allocated budget of the department
• Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate his /her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company
• Create measurement tools and performance metrics to ensure delivery and efficiency of the function including process optimization and standardization (effective scheduling and optimizing delivery routes)
• Ensure a continuous growth of the function by forecast delivery volumes, analyzing historical deliveries, sales numbers and orders as well as developing delivery platforms and delivery menus
• Manage the relationship and negotiation process with suppliers including service providers and delivery aggregators delivering on promotions and delivery rates
