Summary
- Proactively finding opportunities and leads for business growth by creating and maintaining your customer database
- Achieving personal sales targets by converting leads into a business opportunity
- Understanding client needs and providing a proposal which best suits their requirements
- Conducting event space site inspections outlining our unique selling points to the client
- Planning an event successfully from beginning to end using the hotels event management system
- Handling a group movement in the hotel with attentive care
- Ensuring a wellexecuted event which exceeds customers expectations
- Communicating effectively and working closely with all concerned operations departments in the hotel
- Attentively handle guest and employees complaints and provide mutual beneficial solutions
- Ensuring adherence to laws regulations and hotel policies
- Maintaining positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships
- Manage team by being a role model and leader and
- Monitor junior associates performance and provide constructive feedback
- Provide adequate training to junior associates to support their development
- Focus on solutionoriented problem management
- Regularly run reports manage database and keep financial records in line with company policy
Qualifications
- Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations
- 3 years of previous experience in a sales role
- Leadership capabilities displaying integrity respect humility empathy creativity and fun
- Be well spoken and an enthusiastic speaker
- Good administrative organizational and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication sales and customer service skills
- The ability to multitask work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines
