Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a newly established digital out-of-home operator company in the UAE. Our client is looking to hire a Event Sales Manager who will be responsible for prospecting, client management, group and event bookings.
- Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
- Come up with suggestions to enhance the event s success
- Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Be in charge of hiring personnel (DJs, waiters etc.)
- Coordinate all operations
- Lead promotional activities for both new and existing local corporate accounts
- Be passionate and knowledgeable about the area
- Use your flair and individuality to drive sales and create connections with the local neighbourhood
- Meet your sales targets while driving standards and productivity
- Ensure all KPIs are exceeded on a daily and monthly basis
- Maximise lead generation (new and existing business) across all channels in the region
- Proactively seek out new business both locally and regionally
Requirements
- Proven experience as event sales manager
- Skilled in project management
- Demonstrable track record in exceeding targets on your personal quota
- Ability to build effective relationship quickly and are able to demonstrate authority
- Great communicator with clients and colleagues
- Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
- Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
- Excellent organizational skills
- A knack for problem-solving
- Customer-service orientation
- A team player with leadership skills
- BSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred
