- Make accurate estimates and preparation for the tenders for the Service of Heat Exchangers in the Oil & gas industry, service, repair, shutdowns and turnarounds.
- Sourcing material and its costs in accordance to the tender requirement.
- Apply cost control techniques for optimizing cost.
- Attend tender meetings with clients, provide clarifications to commercial and technical queries till the award of the project.
- Upon getting letter of award, attend kick-of meeting with the production & engineering team.
- Ensure awareness and compliance with HSE rules and regulations.
- Receive RFQ’s from management, evaluation & study of Tender, well versed contract procedure. Co-ordinate with respective departments for preparing estimates. Prepare cost estimation as per tender.
- Prepare Bill Of Materials, through understanding of material involved, prepare Material requisition for procurement, Prepare material enquiries, follow-up, obtain material prices with co-ordination with procurement department.
- Calculation of Man-hour requirement for fabrication, requirement of Consumables, NDT, heat treatment, internal /external coating and calculation of production cost.
- Prepare sub-contract enquiries and obtain quotations for sub-contract products and activities (insulation work, special type of internal lining, stress relieving, etc.).
- Bid/Tender preparation
- Prepare cost estimates with extreme accuracy.
- Prepare quotation/proposal, review with management and final submission to client. Follow-up, submit clarifications to the client till award of project/ Tender.
